Are you sure your boyfriend isn’t already married to any person else?
Writing about love sure is not easy. Indeed, don’t we all hope for the same thing: to be in a successful relationship, have a good home, good children, perfect health etc.. and so prefacing an article on this subject with a warning is not always what people want to read or hear, let alone experience.
But people in all walks of life, Dads (and Moms) up and down the country inevitably come to a point in their lives when they start to worry about whom their precious daughters date. You could say that causing a parent to worry is the nature of things and I suppose you’d be right, we did it to our parents, our children are now doing it to us. But still we worry, most of the times for no reason at all.
Romeo was married to another woman!
But there are times when we’re right to worry, such as a friend of mine found out when he discovered that the charming young man who was sweeping his daughter of her feet was in fact married to another woman and had two children with her.
“I am divorced” he kept on saying until Father took matters into his own hands and did the unenviable next thing! He checked the young man court record!!
In this case, this happened to his own daughter and luckily for her, the relationship was still in its early stages, young enough for his daughter to walk away from it all with just a few tears…
But it could (and indeed it does) happen to any dating person about to embark on a long term relationship with any individual met on a dating website. Indeed, it could happen to you! And this time, there could be more than just a few tears involved!
Not only could Romeo be another woman’s husband, but he could also be a convicted criminal!
So romance is in the air! You have joined the latest dating site, created the ideal profile about the person you’re and the partner you’re hoping to find, and after several months of exchanging platonic emails with other members whom you don’t feel a particular special connection with, finally something happens and your heart misses a beat.
You love that he talks lovingly about his children, this is the one for you, you feel. You might have just found that elusive best partner with the qualities you like best in a man, and as the relationship evolves, you find yourself attracted to him, more and more. You meet in the usual safe and public places, drink coffee and chat for hours and delight in the fact that not once has he intimated something improper. No this man is a true gentleman and as time passes, you feel the both of you know each other so well, you might have known each other for years, although it’s been just a couple of months..
But consider it. Do you know how often people lie about their marital affairs in order to have bits of extra “on the side” fun? What about this man you’re falling in love with? Are you willing to commit to a relationship with any individual who is actually married to another woman?
We live in a complex world nowadays where it is becoming increasingly difficult to know who are neighbors are, let alone people we’ve met on the internet who might be living miles away from us.
As such it is now a necessity for men and women to ensure themselves that the person they’re about to let into their lives is not married, and worse still, doesn’t come with a past criminal history recorded in court orders!
